This stripey cotton legging is not the only pant onto which I have inflicted awkwardly crotch-adjacent damage. But given their graphic pattern and close fitting nature, I thought these should get a treatment suggesting things that happen in the gusset area. The mend is simple: drop-shaped patches cut from old red t-shirt appliquéd over the holes with blanket stitch. And thus is another mending pun born.
