RATIONAL RATIONING

To celebrate the opening of the Imperial War Museum's  Fashion on the Ration exhibition, about how WWII rationing affected everyday style, here's the wonderful Make do and Mend film made by the Board of Trade at Harrods: though beautifully dated, still most relevant today. And remember, as the dame with the cut glass queen's voice says: "For the ladies, you may be reassured that all garments made in Make do and Mend are entirely exclusive."
